Residential Moving Services

Local moves, by definition, are considered any move that happens within the same state, regardless of the distance. Local moves, because of the distances, are usually priced upon the hours required for the move, the weight of the shipment, and/or other factors regarding packing materials and moving size. We will determine your hourly rate based on the quantity of movers and trucks that you will need for your move.

Usually, a local move begins with a Moving Plan established between you and a Moving Specialist. This will include information about, but not limited to, packing, supplies, inventory of the items to-be-moved, a moving date, and an approximate estimate of the moving cost.

If necessary, on a scheduled date, packing supplies will be delivered to a specified location where either you, or our well-trained staff, can begin the laborious task of packing. When choosing our staff to pack for you, you will only be charged for the materials that are actually used, along with hourly packing rates for the staff.

Prior to the move, all the essentials (inventory, moving plan, etc.) will be confirmed via phone, fax, email or in person. We will review your basic liability insurance coverage, and you may also choose to add additional insurance coverage at this time.

The day of the move, our staff will arrive on time, ready to work quickly, accurately, and professionally…as expected. The shipment will be transported to the new location, unloaded, and placed at your discretion. Our staff will then exercise any necessary or additional services you require before leaving you with you're new home. We strive to have this completed within an approximate 1-2 working day turnaround time.
